NITDA Rural Information Technology Centers (RITCs) Project
The deployment of Rural Information Technology Centers (RITC) by NITDA across the Nation, is part of Nigeria’s strategic effort aimed at the timely and successful achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), identified by the United Nation Millennium Project as requiring a global partnership suitable for an interconnected world.
In proactively responding to this clarion call, as well as contributing to Nigeria’s concerted efforts targeted at improving and sustainably enabling Accessibility, Availability, and Affordability parameters of Information and Communications Technology product and service applications, the National Information Technology Development Agency’s (NITDA) delivered the RITC Project as an innovative and reliable means of providing connectivity to the unserved and underserved populations in communities nationwide.
